Sharps Technology has announced the receipt of a $400,000 initial purchase order from a prominent U.S. provider of IV flushing solutions. This order marks the company's first commercial revenue stemming from a substantial $50 million supply agreement established in July 2024. The contract entails the delivery of approximately 500 million customized 10mL SoloGard syringes over a five-year period.
The company's manufacturing facility in Hungary is equipped and prepared to fulfill these initial orders. Significant investments have been made in advanced production technologies through collaborations with Husky Medical Molds and BBS Automation. These partnerships are designed to optimize production processes and improve manufacturing efficiency.
CEO Robert Hayes emphasized that this development represents a pivotal moment for the company, indicating a shift from the agreement phase to execution. Looking ahead, the company anticipates ramping up production volumes in the upcoming quarters, utilizing precision molding and advanced automation to meet the increasing demand associated with this major contract.
