On Monday, the Troup County School Board engaged in discussions regarding a potential Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at establishing a groundbreaking technology center in LaGrange. The proposed initiative, which could involve an investment of several billion dollars, was presented by LaGrange Development Authority President Scott Malone.
The MOU between the LaGrange Development Authority and Rosewall Pines Holdings is designed to offer tax incentives through a payment-in-lieu-of-taxes arrangement. This agreement aims to stimulate local economic growth and create new job opportunities within the community.
